Message	on the fact that your system just recently started dropping pressure it is probably related. Clamp off just after the fuel filter/before pressure sensor. Then clamp off the return line. Leave it over night. If pressure still drops then your fuel leak is either injectors, regulator, or dampener. Otherwise the system can lose pressure at the pump which doesn't really affect anything.
